Software Registration Help for DirMS-S and Buzzsaw-S

The DirMS-S or Buzzsaw-S programs must be installed before they can be registered.

Note: If you register DirMS-S, then Buzzsaw-S will automatically be registered. If you install Buzzsaw-S after registering DirMS-S, Buzzsaw-S will automatically be activated after installation. You can also register from the Buzzsaw-S GUI. If you register Buzzsaw-S, then DirMS-S will automatically be registered.

If you have Windows XP, you can register and then Activate using the AutoActivation program. See AutoActivation Help.

The following help information describes the process of registering DirMS-S The process for registering Buzzsaw-S is identical to the process for registering DirMS-S with the exception that it is done from the Buzzsaw-S program.

Registration Process

In order to register and receive full functionality one needs to register the software. This can be accomplished by starting Dirms-S (or Buzzsaw-S) and waiting a few seconds until a "Register DirMS" button appears in the lower left hand corner of the user interface. After pressing the "Register DirMS" button, a screen similiar to the following should appear:

Select the code in the upper dialog box using the mouse. Once selected, use CTRL-C or right-click mouse and copy in order to copy this code. DO NOT CLOSE THIS SCREEN AT THIS TIME!!

Go to the DirMS website (www.dirms.com) and follow the Register Software link.

New Users should press the New User button. To purchase the software, enter a valid email address and password then press the Buy Now button.

You can pay by either Credit Card or a PayPal account.

Existing Users can login by pressing the Existing User button on the Software Registration page.

Once you are logged in, the system will display the number of licenses that you have available. If the number is greater than zero, you can activate the software.

To activate the software, paste the code that you copied from the DirMS-S GUI into the top dialog box on the webpage. This can be done by CTRL-Insert or by right-clicking the mouse and selecting paste.

Press the Activate Software button and you will receive an activation code in the lower dialog box on the website. Copy the activation code from website. Switch back to the DirMS-S or Buzzsaw-S program. The Registration Box must have remained open. Paste the Activation Code into the lower dialog box. You can NOW close the Registration Screen in DirMS-S or Buzzsaw-S by pressing the OK button. DirMS-S should now be registered and activated.
